Ellie Hugh Handley, Retired Chief Master Sergeant U.S. Air Force, 75 years old, died in his home February 15, 2011. He was born December 16, 1935 in Murfreesboro Tennessee to Cecil Allen Handley and Lorene Louise Handley. Surviving relatives include his wife Tillie Handley (Mirabal); three daughters and one son: Annette Marie Garay, Jeanette Handley-Lavelle, Diane Handley Kainer, and Ellie Hugh Handley II; eight grandchildren: Christopher Alba, Amanda Alba, Lauren Van Dyke, Tayler Handley, Kyle Van Dyke, Nicole Handley, Ryan Garay, and John Handley-Kainer. He is also survived by two brothers, Joe Harold Handley and Cecil Tony Handley. Ellie was a strong and proud man who loved God, his family, and his country. He will be missed by those whose life he touched. Services for Ellie Handley include a viewing Monday February 21, 2011, 2:00-4:00 PM @ Funeral Caring USA Funeral Homes, 6500 N IH-35, San Antonio TX 78218. Graveside service will be held at 9:00 AM Tuesday February 22, 2011 @ Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery 1520 Harry Wurzbach, San Antonio TX. The Pavilion Site will be posted as you enter the cemetery. A meal will follow the burial from 10:00 -Noon @ The Park Church 2659 Eisenhauer, San Antonio Texas.
